Arc-second positions verified against JPL Horizons, 11 house systems, tropical and sidereal zodiacs with Lahiri, Fagan-Bradley and Krishnamurti ayanamsas, geocentric to heliocentric.
Forecasting that thinks ahead
Transit, progression and solar-arc hit lists with exact timing, sign and house ingresses, stations, eclipses and void-of-course Moon.
The traditional toolkit
Essential dignities, almutens, sect, temperament, planetary hours and 30 Arabic parts with custom formulas.
A complete Vedic module
North and South Indian chart styles, 27 nakshatras with padas, Vimshottari dasha with bhuktis, divisional charts D-2 through D-60, Ashtakoota matching.
Hellenistic time-lords
Zodiacal releasing through level two, firdaria, annual profections and primary directions with Ptolemy, Naibod and solar rate keys.
Stars, maps and midpoints
50 fixed stars with parans, astro-cartography with local space and click-to-relocate, midpoint trees, sorts and cosmobiology dials.
Reports worth printing
Point-and-click interpretations, natal, transit and composite reports, a drag-and-drop page designer, PDF and print export.
Forecasting
See the sky coming.
Scan any date range for exact transit, progression and solar-arc events. Every hit carries its applying, exact and separating phases, so you know not just what is coming, but when it matters.
- Hit lists with exact event timing
- Eclipses and retrograde stations
- Sign and natal-house ingresses
- Void-of-course Moon and iCalendar export

Graphic ephemeris
A year on one canvas.
The Ebertin-style graphic ephemeris draws planetary motion as curves. Retrograde loops, stations and exact crossings become visible at a glance, in 360°, 30° or 45° modulus, with a declination mode for out-of-bounds work.
- Three zodiacal moduli plus declination
- Natal positions as reference lines
- Crosshair readout to the exact degree
- Scroll and zoom through any span of time

Every tradition
Depth the traditions deserve.
From Dorothean dignities to Vimshottari dashas, Astrolize treats classical techniques as first-class citizens: computed rigorously, presented cleanly, never bolted on.
- Dignities, almutens, sect and temperament
- Zodiacal releasing through level two
- Firdaria and annual profections
- Nakshatras, dashas and divisional charts

Accuracy you can defend.
Every position comes from Astrolize’s own calculation engine, measured against NASA JPL Horizons from 1900 to 2050. The Sun and planets agree to within 3.4 arc-seconds, most of them within half of one, and the Moon to within 10: far inside the arc-minute a chart displays. Historical charts respect the IANA timezone database, including local-mean-time offsets from before standard time existed.
- Measured against NASA JPL Horizons
- Planets within 3.4 arc-seconds
- Timezone-true historical charts
Private by architecture.
Your chart library lives in sandboxed storage on your Mac and is never sent to us: no cloud copy, no analytics, no telemetry. Charts are cast and read offline. The app goes online only for birthplace search and maps (through Apple) and, for a copy bought direct, for update checks and a licence check-in that allows at least 60 days offline.
- Charts never leave your Mac

Switching
Built to retire the Windows-era giants.
Astrolize is designed for working astrologers coming from the classic desktop suites: the depth you rely on, without the baggage.
Leaving Windows behind
Solar Fire Gold is Windows-only, at $360. If your astrology software is the reason you keep a PC (or a virtual machine), Astrolize gives that workflow a real Mac home.
Everything included
Astro Gold for macOS costs $229.99 and sells professional report packs as separate in-app purchases. Astrolize ships every module, technique and report in one purchase.
Familiar depth, modern craft
Wheels, hit lists, dials, page layouts, rectification: the workflows professionals already know, rebuilt with native macOS speed, keyboard shortcuts and design.
Bringing your charts across: Astrolize opens and saves its own .astrochart files, and direct Solar Fire import is on the roadmap after 1.0. Until then a chart is quick to re-enter: type the city, and the atlas fills in the coordinates and the historically correct timezone.

Questions
Asked and answered.
Is Astrolize a subscription?
No. Astrolize is a one-time purchase. Every feature is included, and updates through the 1.x series are free.
What does it run on?
macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later. The Mac app is built with Swift and SwiftUI: a fully native Mac app, not a port of something else.
Where does my data live?
On your Mac. Charts are stored in a local, sandboxed database and are never sent to us: there is no cloud sync, no analytics and no telemetry. Charts are cast and read offline. The app goes online only for birthplace search and maps, through Apple, and, for a copy bought directly from astrolize.app, for update checks and a licence check-in that allows at least 60 days offline.
Which calculations does it support?
Astrolize’s own calculation engine, measured against NASA JPL Horizons, drives every position: 11 house systems, tropical and sidereal zodiacs (Lahiri, Fagan-Bradley, Krishnamurti), geocentric, heliocentric and topocentric coordinates, and 11 aspect types.
Can I import my charts from Solar Fire?
Astrolize imports and exports its own .astrochart format today; direct Solar Fire import is on the post-1.0 roadmap. Re-entering a chart is fast: type a city and the atlas fills coordinates and the historically correct timezone.
Are interpretations included?
Yes: point-and-click interpretations on any chart element, plus full natal, transit and composite reports exportable as plain text, with PDF and print export from the page designer.
How do refunds work?
Mac App Store purchases are handled by Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to App Store policy. If you bought directly from astrolize.app, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we refund you in full.
How do I get support?
Email [email protected] or visit the support page. Feedback directly shapes the roadmap.
Give your practice a Mac-native home.
Every technique in one Mac app, with a library of charts that stays on your Mac.
